A QR code is one way to make how to get more Google reviews easy: the customer points the camera and the review box opens.
Steps
- First find your Google review link first.
- On a computer, open the Reviews section of your Business Profile and choose the share option for getting more reviews.
- Right-click the QR code and choose "Save image as" to download it.
This follows Google's guide to creating a review link or QR code. The QR code can only be made on a computer, not on a phone.
Where to put it
Put it where the customer is already waiting or paying: at the till, on the receipt, on the invoice, on the table or at reception. Add a few words so people know what it is, for example "Scan to tell others about today."
Adding NFC
A printed code works for phones with a camera. A tap is quicker for customers who are standing at the counter. Our NFC Google review stands with a tap option carry both an NFC chip and a QR code with your link.
Common questions
Does a Google review QR code cost anything?
No. Google provides the code free inside your Business Profile. What you pay for with Card Smart is the printed card or stand and the NFC chip.
